Our wine A family tradition
Azienda Agricola Marcocelli

F ounded in 1975 as wished by Rivo Marcocelli, Azienda Agricola Marcocelli bounded forward with its wine production in 1999, thanks to Rivo's son, Giuseppe. In those years, the company's core business shifted from orchards to vines, focusing in particular on Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes.
Thanks to this relevant wine, which represents the family's wine production, the winery was immediately successful, and in a very short time was awarded a High Quality Product acknowledgement (in 2000). In 2003 it obtained the prestigious DOCG label for its Conte Ripoli Colline Teramane Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
With great care and using the most advanced wine-making facilities, every year we produce more than 50,000 bottles, most of which are sold in Italy, while a small part is exported to countries such as Belgium, Germany and China.
Production chain control and final quality of our wine are the fundamental values through which our products are prepared and sold to our final clients. This is why the priority of Cantina Marcocelli is the production of small amounts with high quality.
Passion for wine has been inherited by Rivo's other children, Alessia and Luca, who are still young and yet have chosen to combine the family's experience with winemaking knowledge, remaining in the sector. Regardless of the acknowledgement of the company over the years, the Marcocelli Family continues to work at a modest plant, is proud of its products, and wishes to share them with those who believe in the same values. Anyone who wishes to visit our winery is welcome!

Vines with a view of Gran Sasso
The Commune of Corropoli is part of the province of Teramo, in the Abruzzi region. The region is almost entirely dominated by the Adriatic sea on the east and the Central Apennines on the west. The peaks of Gran Sasso are located in the western part of the province, while those of Monti della Laga overlook its northern borders.
The territory of the Teramo province is characterised by the presence of hills and valleys, which reach up to the coast all the way from the Apennines. Azienda Agricola Marcocelli is located in the hilly area that looks to the east, and is always kissed by the sun.
